Summer Bishil, an American actress is most famous for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy show The Magicians. The actress was previously recognized as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun who undergoes emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. military invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. In 2007, Variety declared her to be among its top 10 actors to watch. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she portrayed the tough role of Taslima Jhangir and was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award as the best female lead.
